Susan Treabess was born without a left hand, but that disability didn’t stop her from riding horses since she was 5 years old. Susan rides with a prosthesis and explains to Equine VIP the details about being an elite Para-Equestrian and competing at WEG. Susan competed at the Normandy World Games, her first international championship with “Kam” Kamiakin. Susan brought Kam up from Training Level in just three years – Kam is the first PRE (Pura Raza Espanola) ever to make the US team.
Susan has an extraordinary “dream team” in place that include another Equine VIP Ellen Eckstein, Dennis Callin and Steffen Peters. We hope Susan’s story will inspire you!
